A chocolate-coloured chilli with very thick-walled flesh that softens immediately when pressed. This chilli almost melts in the mouth when ripe. The plant can also grow to an impressive size and looks very attractive with its black foliage. The pods are rather small but large quantities are produced.

This chilli variety matures relatively quickly for a chinense and is therefore also suitable for shorter summers if grown early.
