A chance discovery in the Wild Sierra in Mexico made it possible for this rare and extremely tasty form of chiltepin to reach us. As with all wild Capsicum species, the chillies are as small as rowan berries, which is due to the fact that birds were originally the natural propagators of the chillies. But don't be fooled by their size. These small pods are hot flavour bombs.
